MODULUS OF RUPTURE TEST - GB/T 17657-1999 (4.9) (adapted)

1. TOOLS
1.1 Wood panels universal test machine accurate to 10 N
1.2 Vernier caliper accurate to 0.1 mm

2. SAMPLING
We cut three 400×400 mm mother samples from 1 sheet

We then cut two Length = （20×h+50） mm （+/﹣2 mm） × Width = 50 mm final samples from each 400×400 mm mother sample and get six Length = （20×h+50） mm （+/﹣2 mm） × Width = 50 mm final samples for testing

Samples shall be free from resin wood and features such as bark, knots and resin pockets

3. TESTING PROCEDURE
3.1 The testing environment should be 20 (+/-2)℃ and 65 (+/-5)% air humidity
3.2 Place the samples on the test machine and perform the software-controlled test

3.3 Obtain computer-generated test report
